Vampire, Werewolf & Zombie Woes

With all the vampire series and movies out there, it's becoming a point of view thing.

What happened to the vamps bursting into flames when in sunlight? They all of a sudden sparkle now? They're weakened by chains of silver, too? I don't know. I liked it when they didn't travel with the speed of light and had fangs. I'm old fashioned that way I guess.

I'm not a big fan of some of these authors and their points of view on how vampires move around the world these days. I always thought silver was meant for werewolves, not vampires. I always thought vampires burst into flames when in direct sunlight, not sparkle.

Since when do clothes just drop off of a person who decides he/she would like to be a wolf for a while? Since when does one lone vampire face down a group of werewolves and say, "I warn you, I have fed." So what?

Okay, by now you know exactly what 'movie(s)' and 'HBO series' I speak of. I don't think I have to spell it out. The movies (the sparkle and venom vampires) I can take or leave, but the HBO series I enjoy, although, the silver thing still gets on my nerves.

I’m afraid I just don’t like some of the antics that go on with these creatures. There are simply too many points of view on how they live in our world. I guess it all boils down to the fact that everyone is entitled to them. You can’t please everyone, but I’m sure that I’m not alone in the way I feel.

Zombies on the other hand just don’t look right running down the street after a car. I tend to lean towards the old Romero flicks. I’m just glad they’re all still around and hope it will stay that way for a long time to come.

This is just my opinion and I’m just not going to beat a dead horse. Keep them coming and we’ll keep watching. After all, mortals are curious creatures. We don’t care about the cat and curiosity.
